2016 LeafFilter Racing Scholarship Winner

In 2015, Blake Koch announced the first ever LeafFilter Racing Scholarship. The $500 scholarship was designed for students enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for the fall of 2016. Applicants were asked to write a 350-500 word essay that describes their passion and how it relates to their chosen major. All applications were evaluated based on creativity, original content, and adherence to the essay topic.

LeafFilter Racing is pleased to award the 2016 LeafFilter Racing Scholarship to Elizabeth Richardson. Elizabeth is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Texas Tech University. In her original, well-written essay, she discusses her passion for race car drivers and the automotive industry. Elizabeth is combining her love for cars with mechanical engineering so that one day, she can make cars safer.

Congratulations, Elizabeth!

Stay tuned for our 2017 LeafFilter Racing Scholarship. Details will be posted shortly.
