Blake Koch – Kentucky Speedway Advance

Blake Koch at Kentucky Speedway… Blake Koch has 10 previous starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) at Kentucky Speedway. His best start (ninth) at the track came in this race last year. In that event, Koch fought a tight No. 11 Chevy Camaro but battled back to finish 14th. The last time the NXS visited Kentucky Speedway in September 2016, Koch scored a track-best finish of 11th after starting 15th. He overcame a tight-handling car and avoided several on-track incidents to score the top-15 finish.

Sounding Off – Blake Koch… “We have been working really hard on our 1.5-mile program and hope we can stay out of trouble to really test it out this weekend at Kentucky. After a couple of tough weeks, a good finish would mean a lot to our No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection® team. I have the best team in the garage and am looking forward to earning them a great finish this weekend.”

2017 Season… Koch is currently 12th in the NXS Championship standings after 15 races. He has recorded one pole position, four top-10 starts, one top-10 finish and six top-15 finishes.  Last week at Daytona International Speedway, Koch earned a track-best starting position of fourth, won Stage 1 of the event and led 28 laps before being collected in a multi-car incident on Lap 50, relegating him to a 38th-place finish.
