Blake Koch Readies for Fourth Start at Road America

Blake Koch at Road America… Blake Koch has three previous starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) at Road America. He earned a track-best finish of 14th in 2011 after starting 24th. In this race last year, he captured a track-best start of ninth and went on to finish 18th after having to pit late in the event for fuel as the race went into overtime.
 
Sounding Off – Blake Koch… “I’m super confident heading into Road America this weekend. I feel like it’s my best road course and we will be bringing the same car we ran so well with at Mid-Ohio. I think this weekend is our best opportunity to bring home the trophy.”
 
2017 Season… Koch is currently ninth in the NXS Championship standings after 22 races. He has recorded one pole position, six top-10 starts, two top-10 finishes and 10 top-15 finishes. The Kaulig Racing driver has led 32 laps so far in 2017 Last week at Bristol Motor Speedway, Koch earned a track-best start of 13th and fought tight conditions throughout the 300-lap event. The West Palm Beach, Fla. native went on to finish the Food City 300 14th and advanced to ninth in the NXS championship standings.
 
Meet Blake…Koch will participate in the NXS autograph session at Road America on Saturday, August 26th from 11 – 11:45 a.m. CT in Victory Lane.
 
Blake Koch NXS Career… Koch makes his 203rd NXS start this weekend at Road America. To date, Koch has a career-best NXS starting position of first at Talladega Superspeedway (May 2017), and a career-best NXS finish of eighth at RIR (April 2016), Bristol Motor Speedway (August 2016), Phoenix International Raceway (November 2016) and Iowa Speedway (July 2017).
 
Tune-In… The 45-lap Johnsonville 180 from Road America will be televised live Sunday, August 27th, 2017 at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and will be broadcasted live on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio channel 90.
